Dr. Trung Tran Periodontist / Founder
Dr. Tran received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City, which is also where he completed his periodontal residency. He is board certified with the American Board of Periodontology. His work primarily focuses on the placement of dental implants, gum or periodontal disease therapy, and cosmetic periodontal plastic surgery.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Dr. Tran’s parents emigrated from Vietnam in 1975. Once he completed his education, his vision of providing quality, affordable and convenient periodontal care to improve the oral health of patients in the greater Tulsa area drove him to open Tulsa Dental Implants and Periodontics. He believes that everyone is entitled to a pain-free, clean, attractive, healthy mouth.
Dr. Tran is an involved member in many local, national and international organizations, including the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and Southwest Society of Periodontists.
Dr. Sandra Perozo
We are excited to welcome Dr. Sandra to our team on
June 12, 2023. Dr. Sandra is deeply passionate about
dentistry and periodontics, and she sees it as her
calling to take care of and advocate for her patients.
She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to
our practice, having graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree in dentistry from the University of Zulia in
Venezuela in 2005, and earned a Master’s degree in
Implantology in 2016. She has also completed her
Master’s of Science degree in Periodontics from the
University of Oklahoma. Dr. Sandra is also fluent in
Spanish, and she looks forward to providing excellent
care to the Spanish-speaking members of our
community.
Not only is Dr. Sandra accomplished in her field, but
she also has a deep love for Oklahoma and its people.
When she’s not practicing dentistry, she enjoys
spending time with her husband, Fabian, and her
beloved dog, Samba. Dr. Sandra is an avid runner and
loves to explore new foods and travel to new places.
Above all, she believes that resilience is the key to
success, and she lives by the words of Charles Darwin:
“It is not the strongest or the most intelligent who will
survive, but those who can best manage changes.”
With her warm and caring personality and dedication
to her patients, we are confident that Dr. Sandra will
be an invaluable asset to our practice and the

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, worked as a dental assistant until she was accepted into the Dental Hygiene program at Tulsa Community College. Once she completed that program, she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She loves leading people to their health goals and the atmosphere our team has created.
