About us
A firm foundation for oral health and whole-body wellness
We establish a firm foundation for oral health — the gums and bone that hold everything in place. That foundation does more than keep teeth stable; healthy gums support whole-body wellness. And if it's too late to save the teeth, implants can still save the smile.

Transcend is a periodontal specialty practice in Tulsa. Periodontics is the care of the gums and bone that hold your teeth in place, and of dental implants when a tooth can't be saved. That narrow focus is the point — it's what we do all day.
Dr. Trung Tran founded the practice with a straightforward vision: quality, affordable and convenient periodontal care for the greater Tulsa area. He believes everyone is entitled to a pain-free, clean, attractive, healthy mouth — and that belief still decides how we treat, schedule, and quote.
Most patients arrive through their general dentist. We handle the surgical piece, send a clear report back, and return the patient for restorative care. If we can't help, or we don't take your insurance, we'll tell you and help you find the better option.
We also have a Spanish-speaking periodontist on staff, so care and consent happen in the language you actually think in.

Our CLEAR Values
Calling, Leadership, Excellence, Advocacy, Relationships
Five values our team is hired, trained, and measured against.
Calling
We are compelled to passionately serve our patients, team members and community.
When your career is a calling, it's more than a job. You're part of something bigger than yourself, you have purpose, believe in what you do and can't help but excel.
Leadership
We lead by example, taking responsibility for developing our team and exceeding expectations.
When you're committed to integrity, innovation and creative thinking, you do more than show up. You reach goals, succeed as a team, take ownership, build each other up and serve others.
Excellence
We proudly provide quality personalized care through integrity, innovation and professionalism.
Complacency doesn't cut it. In order to provide the highest quality of care, professionalism, honesty, compassion, consistency and attention to detail must be used in every interaction.
Advocacy
We support our patients, each other and the dental profession, ensuring goals are achieved.
Providing the finest care means you must be willing to go the extra mile every time. You must be an ally, empowering your patients to make the best possible decisions.
Relationships
We build genuine, meaningful connections built on trust, which leads to valued relationships.
Never extract value — build value. Our team, our patients and those in our community are all family, and providing genuine care builds relationships over transactions.
Community
The community is our home
One of the value statements this organization started with: “The community is our home. We will make our community a better place through the radical generosity of our time and resources.”
We put our time and resources back into Tulsa: charitable giving, volunteer days with our team, and ongoing partnerships with local outreach programs and mission work. Our team meets every month to plan how we serve next. It's part of how we practice, not a side project.

How we work
Three commitments we hold ourselves to
Diagnose before treating
Imaging, measurements, and a written plan come first. If a tooth can be saved, we'll say so.
Price before scheduling
You'll know the cost and what your benefits are expected to cover before you commit to treatment.
Communicate both ways
Referring offices get reports promptly. Patients get someone to call after hours if something feels wrong.
